Terms of enrollment · effective August 30, 2026

Plain-language terms for a careful product.

These terms describe the current Committed Marriage offer, account rules, refund promise, and product boundaries. By creating an account and continuing to checkout, you confirm that you are at least 18 and agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice.

Education, not professional care

Committed Marriage provides general marriage education and guided reflection. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical care, legal or financial advice, crisis response, or a safety plan. It cannot guarantee a relationship outcome or decide whether someone should remain in a marriage. Participation is voluntary, and any person may skip a prompt, stop an exercise, or use the course Solo for Now.

Who may enroll

You must be at least 18. Enrollment is for personal, noncommercial use by the purchaser and one invited spouse. Each person uses an individual login and accepts these terms for their own account. Accounts, invitations, course materials, and Journal features may not be sold, shared outside the enrolled marriage, redistributed, or used to provide a competing product or service.

Founding enrollment

The first 100 completed marriage enrollments are offered at $149 once. One founding enrollment covers the purchaser and one invited spouse through two separate private accounts. It includes permanent access to the complete course and lifetime access to the guided Journal without an annual Journal fee.

A founding place is consumed when payment is completed. Unless a different rule is clearly displayed before purchase, a future founding enrollment that is fully refunded may be returned to available inventory.

Enrollment after the founding 100

After the founding offer closes, enrollment is $199 once. It covers the same two private accounts, permanent course access, and the first year of Full Journal access.

The $199 checkout does not begin an annual subscription. Near the end of the included year, the purchaser may separately choose a $24-per-marriage annual Journal plan. That plan begins only after an explicit opt-in and then renews annually until cancelled.

Journal renewal and cancellation

An active annual Journal plan can be cancelled through the account area. Cancellation stops future billing at the end of the current paid period and never removes permanent course access.

If Full Journal access ends, existing private writing remains readable, editable, exportable, and deletable through Journal Core. Basic private text entries, basic search, and unlinking also remain available. Premium Journal features—including paid AI, media, and certain shared tools—may pause until Full Journal access resumes.

Thirty-day money-back guarantee

You may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of the original course purchase without providing a reason or proof. Use the support contact shown in your purchase receipt to make the request.

Before access is removed, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export private Journal writing. Once the refund is processed, course and paid Journal access are removed from both covered accounts. Private content is handled according to the Privacy Notice and the account’s deletion choices; financial and transaction records may be retained when required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or law.

Two private accounts

Each spouse has an individual login and controls their own private data. Journal entries are never shared with a spouse automatically. When a feature allows sharing, the person sharing must choose what to share and can preview it first. The spouse invitation is for the enrolled marriage and cannot be transferred or reassigned to another person.

If accounts are unlinked or the relationship changes, each activated account keeps its permanent course access and its own private data. The purchaser remains responsible for any shared annual Journal billing unless it is cancelled.

What “permanent” and “lifetime” mean

Permanent course access and lifetime founding Journal access mean access for as long as Committed Marriage continues to operate the applicable product. Ordinary maintenance and updates to the purchased product are included. These words do not promise every future product, service, premium feature, professional service, or unlimited storage.

Account security and acceptable use

Keep login credentials private and use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to access another person’s private writing, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, upload unlawful or harmful material, scrape the course, or copy and distribute course text, audio, imagery, scripts, exercises, or software. Committed Marriage may suspend access needed to protect people, private data, the service, or intellectual property while a serious violation is investigated.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated through the Site, account area, or email when appropriate. Changes will not quietly remove permanent course access, founding lifetime Journal access, or a paid Journal period already promised to an account.

Policy status. These are the current operative commercial terms. Formal legal review has not yet been completed. Any counsel-recommended revision will be published transparently and will not be described as previously approved by counsel.

Thoughtful, practical guidance for understanding, strengthening, repairing, and taking better care of a marriage.
