When the pattern keeps returning

You do not need a perfect marriage.
You need a better way through the hard parts.

Maybe every difficult conversation turns into defensiveness. Maybe trust feels thinner than it used to. Maybe the two of you are not in crisis—you just feel farther apart than you want to be.

This course gives you a calm structure for changing those patterns in ordinary life, one conversation and one week at a time.

A path you can follow

Less pressure. More practice.
Something real to do next.

The course turns broad advice into four steady movements you can return to whenever the relationship feels stuck.

01

Calm the pattern

Notice the loop before it takes over. Slow the moment down and create enough steadiness to choose what happens next.

Pause
02

Speak to be heard

Use softer starts, clearer requests, and less pressure so the real message has a better chance of landing.

03

Repair what hurt

Take responsibility without collapsing into shame, understand impact, and create a next step that helps rebuild trust.

Repair
04

Return to connection

Build small rhythms of friendship, reliability, affection, and attention that make closeness easier to find.

Return

More than a course notebook

The Journal helps the work live past the lesson.

A lesson can open a door. The Journal helps you carry what you are learning into the days between them—with a calm place for private reflection, shared check-ins, and the moments you want to remember.

  • DailyA fresh curated prompt when you want one
  • PrivateYour reflections stay yours unless you choose to share
  • TogetherGentle check-ins that help you find the same page
  • Long viewNotice patterns and bright spots that time can hide

Founding couples keep the Journal free forever.

What felt lighter between you this week?

You do not need a breakthrough. Notice one small moment that felt easier, kinder, or more connected.

Write for a moment

Everything has a purpose

Built for real life—not for finishing as fast as possible.

Move at a pace that lets the ideas become habits. Listen, read, practice, reflect, and return whenever you need a reset.

12

Guided modules

A clear path through communication, conflict, repair, trust, reconnection, and the rhythms that help progress last.

24

Practical challenges

Two simple, real-life practices per module—because understanding an idea is different from using it when it matters.

52

Listen or read

Emotionally voiced audio and complete transcripts let you learn in the way that fits the moment, then revisit any lesson.

Together, or one steady step at a time

You do not have to wait for perfect alignment to begin.

01

Take it together

Each of you gets a separate account, with clear boundaries between private reflection and the work you choose to share.

02

Start on your own

Learn what is yours to practice, what you can invite, and where healthy boundaries matter—without taking responsibility for everything.

“I did not build this around the idea of a perfect marriage. I built it around what a long marriage actually asks of us: learning to return, repair, tell the truth, and keep choosing the same side.”

A few honest answers

Before you decide.

If the course is right for you, it should be because the structure fits what you need—not because a page pushed you into it.

What does enrollment include?

One enrollment covers both spouses through two separate private accounts and permanent course access. The first 100 marriages receive lifetime Journal access for $149 once. After the founding 100, enrollment is $199 once and includes the first full Journal year.

Will the Journal renew automatically after the included year?

Not from the $199 course checkout. Near the end of the included year, the purchaser may separately opt in to a $24-per-marriage annual Journal plan. If no plan is chosen, permanent course access remains and private writing stays available through Journal Core.

What is the refund policy?

Course enrollment has a 30-day money-back guarantee. You may request a full refund without providing a reason or proof. We will offer an opportunity to export private Journal writing before course and paid Journal access are removed from both covered accounts.

Can I begin if my spouse is not interested?

Yes. Solo for Now is a complete way to take the course. It helps you work on your side of the pattern, make clearer invitations, and recognize where healthy boundaries matter—without suggesting that one person can carry an entire marriage.

Do we share one login?

No. One enrollment includes two separate private accounts. Personal reflections remain private unless you explicitly choose to share them, while shared exercises and check-ins give you a place to participate together.

How quickly should we complete it?

There is no race. The lessons are designed to be practiced, not merely consumed. Many couples will get more from moving steadily and letting each module live in real life before continuing.

What if our marriage is not in serious trouble?

That can be a very good time to pay attention to it. The course also covers friendship, appreciation, affection, shared meaning, dreams, rituals, family, stress, and the ordinary maintenance of a shared life.

What if our marriage is in serious trouble?

Some painful patterns can benefit from education, clearer boundaries, and more responsible repair. Other situations need qualified professional or safety support. The course will not treat abuse, coercive control, violence, severe mental-health crises, addiction, or emergencies as ordinary communication problems.

Is this therapy?

No. Committed Marriage is research-informed relationship education. It cannot diagnose, provide treatment, replace a licensed professional, or determine what a specific symptom means.

Is it religious?

Committed Marriage is not built around a required religious belief system. You can bring your own faith and values into the work without being asked to adopt someone else’s.

Will it tell me whether I should stay married?

No. It helps you see more clearly and act more intentionally. It does not make deeply personal decisions for you, pressure reconciliation, or frame staying married as the only successful outcome.

Do I have to share what I write?

No. Your Journal is private by default. Sharing is a choice, not the price of participation, and you are never required to disclose an entry simply because a lesson invited you to write it.
